Truong Thi May, a true reflection of Khmer spirit

The classic "Vietnamese think Khmer Krom as Khmer, and Cambodian think Khmer Krom as Vietnamese" scenario arose when Truong Thi May became the runner up of the Miss Viet Ethnic 2007. Some Vietnamese newspapers have tried to discredit her by claiming that she's of Kinh's ethic (majority ethnic of Vietnam). Some Khmer on the other hand believe she's a Vietnamese.
